The global AIDS epidemic continues to grow. NeuroAIDS refers to any neurologic condition occurring as a result of HIV infection. Neurological manifestations develop in up to 70% of HIV-positive patients at all stages of infection. The article presents a case of necrotic encephalitis in patient with AIDS. Differential diagnosis included lymphoma, multiple abcesses and brain metastasis.
