Ustekinumab in the treatment for psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis

The authors review the current diagnosis and treatment of psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis and present the clinical cases illustrating the efficacy of ustekinumab (human monoclonal antibody that blocks interleukins 12 and 23 and their interaction with IL-12R-β1 at the surface of immune cells).
