Value-based health care (VBH) is an innovative trend in the medical industry, but the practical aspects of the implementation of this strategy in our country has so far not been formulated. The article summarizes the principles and objectives of the VBH, its role and significance for the result-based healthcare (RBH). For example, realizing in Moscow today innovative models of drug supply on the mechanism of risk-sharing demonstrated the linkage of financial incentives and results of treatment for chronic hepatitis C.
