Predicting the risk of falls in the elderly

The authors discuss the problem of falls in the elderly patientsthat is an important medical and social issue. The main modifiable and unmodifiable risk factors for falls are listed, including the administration of fall-risk-increasing drugs (primarily cardiotropic and psychotropic medications).
